Company Policies

THE NOT-SO-FUN (BUT IMPORTANT) PART

We want to make sure we’re fully aligned before working together. By booking with us, you agree to the following policies:

  • Editing will not begin until all payments have been received in full.

    • Payment schedules are outlined in your contract. Late payments may result in late fees, paused services, and/or delays in delivery timelines.

    • Clients who arrive more than 20 minutes late to their scheduled session without prior communication or a reasonable circumstance may be subject to a late fee and/or a reduction in session time at the Photographer’s discretion.

    • If a client is more than 30 minutes late without communication, the session may be considered a no-show and will not be rescheduled or refunded.

    • We aim to provide accurate turnaround times for all galleries. While we operate with efficiency and intention, timelines may be adjusted due to unforeseen circumstances.

    • All payments are non-refundable unless otherwise stated.

    • In the event of inclement weather for non-wedding sessions, we reserve the right to reschedule in order to maintain the quality of your images.

    • Rescheduling requests made within 48 hours of the session may be subject to a rescheduling fee and are not guaranteed.

    • Final galleries are delivered as a completed body of work. Additional edits or touch-ups are not guaranteed and are handled on a case-by-case basis.

    • Online galleries are available for up to one (1) year from the session date. After this period, rehosting may be subject to additional fees.

    • RAW and unedited images are never delivered under any circumstances.

    • Black Pepper Photography LLC retains full copyright ownership of all images. Clients are granted a personal use license to download, share, and print their images as delivered, but may not alter, edit, apply filters, or use AI tools on the images in any way.

    • Clients are responsible for securing any necessary permits or permissions for their chosen location unless otherwise agreed upon in writing.

    • The Photographer is not responsible for missed shots or compromised images due to client lateness, lack of cooperation, or interference from guests or external conditions.

    • A safe and respectful working environment is required at all times. The Photographer reserves the right to end a session immediately without refund if they experience unsafe, inappropriate, or hostile behavior.

    • We maintain full business insurance and can provide documentation upon request when required by venues or vendors.
